Portoferraio

Come with us to visit an important part of Elba, Portoferraio, the biggest  town of the island that dates back to the Romans but from an architectonic point of view it is still the way Cosimo the Ist of Medici built it  in the middle of the XVIth century. And it is still linked to Napoleon Bonaparte and to the sea trades that since centuries have made it the most important harbour of Elba.
